Beautiful Porsche models can be found at our dealership, on the road, and our favorite Hollywood movies. It’s time to review the best and classic Porsche rides you can see on the big screen.

Gone in 60 Seconds

Porsche was a popular brand among the vehicle’s taken among the 50 cars. This includes the:

  • 1999 Porsche 996
  • 2000 Porsche Boxster
  • 1961 Porsche 356B Speedster
  • 1997 Porsche 959
  • 1997 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo

Top Gun

We know Top Gun is about flying planes and Maverick riding his motorcycle being “dangerous,” however we cannot forget about his love interest, Charlie. She was driving a 1956 Porsche 356 Speedster A while driving with Maverick. When this movie came out, it was one of the most iconic cars on the market.

Risky Business

Sticking with lead Tom Cruise, this introduced him and the audience to the 1979 Porsche 928. From running away from a pimp to dumping in the lake, the Porsche did make a lot of screen time. Joel eventually paid for it to be fixed when it was dumped into Lake Michigan because you cannot simply leave a Porsche there!

1995 Bad Boys

When you think about buddy cop action movies, there is a good chance you’ll think of Bad Boys. Luckily, most of the action was done in the 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo, owned by Mike Lowrey (Will Smith). The famous moment came when the Porsche won in a drag race against the Cobra Roadster.

Sixteen Candles

A favorite teen romance that was loved by all adolescence, Jake Ryan, Sam’s love interest, drives a 1983 Porsche 944. It’s a gorgeous cherry red ride which sends the message that Jake was the coolest guy and was interested in Molly Ringwald’s character based on her personality, not status.
